Aeon-Design has a history, which many enterprises wished they had. Here you can learn more about the background of our company.

To understand Aeon-Design, you must first understand where it comes from. Our company was born in the biggest city of Switzerland, Zurich, where the summers are hot and where it rains really often, and the rain is really wet. To work hard is one of the virtue of the swiss people and especially in Zurich this tradition has a long history. In this environment the need for highly integrated services is the highest.

Important organisations recognized quickly the advantage of these flexible and innovative solutions. Already in the first month, Excom and other companies used the services of Aeon-Design. Already in his beginnings, the young company had to increase the amount of employees, because of the realisation of the swiss version of ZDNet and GameSpot. ZDNet and bluewin were the first strategic partners of Aeon-Design. Within a short span of time the company had to face a huge amount of contracts and it's still going strong.

Founded in 2000, in Zurich, by three entrepreneurs, the company was rapidly able to raise the manpower to fifteen employees. Aeon-Design saw the advantage of hiring teams of freelancers for certain projects.

Brands such as Electra, catag, bluewin, JMWF, UBS, Orbit/COMDEX Europe 2000, Siemens, ZDNet, CNET, Cel4 und GameSpy believed in the advantage of this highly integrated services and repeatedly engaged Aeon-Design for different projects.

The projects that have been realized are so different in their nature, that it is very difficult to explain them all. One of many is the weather channel for bluewin, who was expanded to the Europe weather channel later. Furthermore there are projects that were conceived and launched by Aeon-Design itself like Preisspinne and custom-made concept realisations for Siemens Unternehmensberatung.

Aeon-Design survived the internet crisis well and has a positive balance. Yet, despite the growth the core values remain the same. It's still about the work and providing the best solutions.
